Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using Resume Tailor, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The service
Resume Tailor uses AI to generate resumes tailored to specific job descriptions using profile data you provide. The quality of generated resumes depends on the quality and accuracy of the information you upload. We do not guarantee interview outcomes, offers, or employment.
Pay per use, no subscriptions
Signing up is free. Generating a resume requires a credit purchased in advance. Credits are non-refundable and non-transferable. See the Refund Policy for details.
Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate information. Do not claim skills or experience you do not have.
- Do not upload data belonging to other people without their permission.
- Do not abuse the service (automated scraping, excessive API use, attempts to bypass rate limits).
- Do not use a disposable or fake email address. Accounts found to violate this may be deleted without notice.
Generated content
Resumes generated by the service are yours to use. You are responsible for reviewing them for accuracy before submitting to employers. We build in safeguards against hallucinated skills but accuracy ultimately depends on the accuracy of your profile.
Inactivity and data deletion
Accounts inactive for 30 days are permanently deleted, including all uploaded and generated data. A warning email is sent at day 27. You may also self-delete from Settings at any time.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may terminate your account at any time from Settings, Danger Zone.
Disclaimers
The service is provided as-is. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding availability, fitness for purpose, or the outcome of using generated resumes. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you have paid in the past 12 months.
